Brainspotting

Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk & Talk Sessions are a great way to incorporate movement and the outdoors into your therapy treatment. Benefits include improved mobility, reduction of stress, anxiety, and depression, and an overall improvement in your health and well-being.

The Breathing Room- A Support Group for Stress, Anxiety, and Emotional Overwhelm
Do you feel constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted?
Do you struggle to relax, feel safe, or stop thinking about what comes next?
Many people living with chronic stress, anxiety, or past trauma experience what is often called survival mode—a state where the nervous system stays on high alert, making it difficult to rest, connect, or feel fully present.
The Living in Survival Mode Support Group is designed to help individuals better understand their stress responses and learn practical tools to regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and improve overall emotional well-being.
What Is Survival Mode?
Survival mode occurs when the body remains in a prolonged stress response due to trauma, chronic stress, or ongoing life challenges. This can lead to:
- Constant anxiety or feeling on edge
- Difficulty relaxing or “turning off” your mind
- Emotional numbness or disconnection
- Irritability or strong reactions to stress
- Feeling overwhelmed by everyday situations
If this sounds familiar, you are not alone—and these responses are often natural adaptations to difficult experiences.
How This Support Group Can Help
This therapy support group for stress and anxiety provides a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences and begin developing healthier coping strategies.
In this group, you will:
- Learn how trauma and chronic stress affect the nervous system
- Understand your emotional and stress triggers
- Build skills for grounding and emotional regulation
- Develop healthier ways to cope with anxiety and overwhelm

Group therapy can be a powerful way to reduce isolation, gain insight, and build lasting tools for healing.
This group is not crisis care and is not a replacement for individual therapy.
What You Can Expect
Throughout the four weeks, we will focus on:
- Understanding collective trauma and chronic stress
- Normalizing emotional responses such as grief, anger, numbness, and exhaustion
- Learning grounding and regulation tools to support your nervous system
- Exploring boundaries and self-care during ongoing stress
- Finding meaning, resilience, and connection
Participants often report feeling less alone, more grounded, and better equipped to navigate stress — though individual experiences and outcomes vary.

- 4 Week Support Group- Meets Tuesdays beginning April 14th
- Time: 6:00–7:00 PM
- Format: Virtual via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
- Cost: $100 for the full series

Space is limited to support a safe and meaningful group experience.
Payment & Insurance Information
Mental health support groups are offered as an out-of-pocket service and are not typically covered by insurance. Willow & Sage Counseling does not submit insurance claims for group services.
A superbill can be provided upon request if you wish to seek reimbursement independently. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan.
Payment is required in advance to reserve your spot.
Attendance & Group Commitment
To help create a consistent and supportive group environment, each participant’s space is reserved in advance. Payment for the group series is non-refundable once registration is completed, including in the event of missed sessions or if you are unable to continue.
Consistent attendance helps support emotional safety, group cohesion, and the effectiveness of the experience for everyone.
