Mission & Vision Statements

Mission Statement

At Willow & Sage Counseling, our mission is to offer thoughtful, compassionate care in a space where you feel safe, seen, and respected. We support clients in exploring their strengths and resilience, while also making room for the challenges they carry—all without judgment, pressure, or stigma.

Vision Statement

Inclusion and growth are at the heart of what we do. We come from a place of curiosity and collaboration, working alongside our clients rather than telling them what to do. We strive to create a space where you can trust us, feel safe being vulnerable, and move toward change at your own pace.

Our Values

  • Trust: Trust matters—and we don’t take it lightly. We protect your privacy, respect confidentiality, and make sure your care fits you, not the other way around.
  • Integrity: You’re trusting us with your mental health, and that’s a big deal. We take that trust seriously by practicing with integrity and following professional standards designed to protect and support you.
  • Sensitivity: Everyone’s story is different, and we believe that matters. We take your culture, identity, and life experiences into account so your care feels respectful, personalized, and genuinely supportive.
  • Empathy: You’re not a problem to solve—you’re a person with a story. We focus on understanding your experiences, emotions, and needs, rather than just managing symptoms or focusing on labels.
  • Inclusion: We value every client’s story, experience, and perspective as unique, and we strive to provide a professional, friendly, and inclusive environment where our clients can feel safe and welcomed.
  • Hope: Hope is a powerful part of the human experience. It can give us strength, motivate us to take action, and help us see new possibilities. When hope is present, it can ease feelings of helplessness, reduce stress, and make life feel a little brighter. At Willow & Sage Counseling, we believe nurturing hope is a vital part of therapy and an important part of helping clients move forward during difficult times.
  • Collaboration: We believe that we make the most progress with our clients when we work together to find solutions.

Statement of Non-Discriminatory Practices

Willow & Sage Counseling is committed to offering a safe, supportive space for all clients. We honor and respect people of every religion, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, marital status, and background.
