There are some things you learn best in calm, and some in storm- Willa Cather
As a traveler on this Earth, I have joyfully accepted the lessons during the calm, and have struggled to learn during the storm. As a therapist, I use what I've learned to connect with my clients and to offer effective outpatient individualized care.
My role as a therapist is to accept my client unconditionally and to provide the safety and support needed to explore all the possibilities together. Only my client can decide what the solution is and when it has been found. I am merely a helpful companion given the honor of joining my client on their journey.
During this mutual journey, my focus is to help my client heal, energize, and become more aware of their inner strengths. This is accomplished through active listening, validation, clarification, and gentle challenges to current thought processes, all while in a judgment free environment.

Life can often feel like a roller coaster of ups and downs. My goal as a therapist is to help individuals navigate this ride. Whether in the highs or the lows (or somewhere in between), I believe therapy can help unweave the chaos of life and create a beautiful tapestry. I come to the therapy space with the desire to create a collaborative environment that is filled with support, acceptance, and genuineness. I believe in the Client being the expert of their lives and see myself as a “fellow traveler” on their journey to reach what wellness looks like to them. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I have experience working with adolescents and adults who experience depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, and difficulty functioning in their day-to-day lives. I use a client-centered, trauma-informed lens when rendering therapy services and am adaptable to my Client's needs.
